Aaron Black brings a deep background in safety, risk engineering, and business development to his role as Vice President of Business Development within Keystone’s Risk Management Division. His career began on the agency side, where he served as a full-time Project Safety Director during the construction of Heinz Field as part of an OCIP project, giving him early, hands-on exposure to complex risk environments.

Following that experience, Aaron held safety leadership roles within the construction industry before spending five years as a Senior Risk Engineering Consultant in Zurich’s Construction Division. He joined Keystone more than 17 years ago, bringing with him a strong understanding of agency operations, client needs, and carrier expectations.

In his current role, Aaron supports agency partners with both existing and prospective client needs, and works closely with internal Risk Management team members on account coordination and strategy. He plays a key role in helping agencies grow, retain clients, and deliver meaningful risk management solutions.

Aaron’s leadership style is coach-focused and development-driven. He emphasizes feedback, encouragement, and skill-building, with a goal of helping teams and partners reach their full potential.

Aaron earned a Bachelor of Science in Safety Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and holds his Certified Workers’ Compensation Advisor (CWCA) designation.
