Keystone Appoints Dan Lussier as Chief Administrative Officer

Former Agency Owner and Insurance Operations Executive to Lead Operational Strategy and Regional Alignment Across Keystone

MECHANICSBURG, Pa., July 13, 2026 – Keystone announced the appointment of Dan Lussier as Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). In this role, Lussier will lead the company’s operational strategy, regional development, and systems integration efforts, helping align Keystone’s growing community of Platform Partners while strengthening the infrastructure needed to support continued organic and acquisition-driven growth.

Lussier joins Keystone following a distinguished career as both an agency owner and insurance executive. After acquiring and leading an independent insurance agency in Vermont, he grew the business over a 15-year period through a series of strategic acquisitions before joining NFP. Throughout his career, Lussier has focused on building high-performing organizations, integrating operations, and developing leadership teams.

“Dan brings something incredibly valuable to Keystone because he has lived the same journey as so many of our Platform Partners,” said Mike Walsh, Chief Executive Officer of Keystone“He understands what it takes to build a successful agency without losing a founder’s mindset that makes independent agencies special. As we continue to scale nationally, Dan’s operational expertise, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to developing people will help strengthen both our Platform Partners and the Keystone organization.”

In his role as Chief Administrative Officer, Lussier will work closely with Keystone’s regional leaders, Platform Partners, and corporate teams to strengthen operational consistency, improve communication, and create scalable processes that support long-term growth.

“What excites me most about Keystone is the opportunity to bring together incredibly talented leaders who have each built outstanding businesses and create something even stronger together,” said Lussier. “Our Platform Partners have tremendous expertise, and my role is to help align that knowledge, strengthen communication, and build the operational foundation that allows everyone to succeed. I’ve spent my career helping agencies grow, and I know firsthand the importance of preserving local relationships while creating the scale and support needed to compete at the highest level. Together, we have an opportunity to build a destination organization where our people, our producers, and our partners can continue to thrive.”

Lussier said one of his top priorities will be fostering open communication across the organization and creating an environment where ideas can come from every level of the business.

“The only bad idea is the one we never hear,” Lussier said. “As Keystone continues to grow, communication and collaboration will be critical. We are building something special together, and every voice has the opportunity to shape where we go next.”

Lussier’s appointment reflects Keystone’s continued investment in experienced operational leadership as the company expands its national footprint and strengthens the resources available to its Platform Partners, employees, and producers.
